Chicago Fire vs. FC Bayern Munich to air on FloLive.tv on Aug. 28
AUSTIN, Texas — Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced its first major soccer deal in an agreement with global sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports to carry German soccer legend Bastian Schweinsteiger’s testimonial match. On Aug. 28, FloSports will live stream to U.S. audiences the highly anticipated exhibition match between MLS side Chicago Fire and FC Bayern Munich on FloLive.tv. The game will be played at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, in a tribute to the former captain of the German national team.
The official testimonial match for Schweinsteiger will see the 2014 FIFA World Cup champion play the first half for his current team, the Chicago Fire, and the second half for his former team, Bayern Munich.
Gaining the U.S. distribution rights for the match speaks to FloSports’ interest in the sport and in helping international and domestic teams reach U.S. fans at the national and regional levels.
