The NCAA men’s hockey tournament, as it so often is, will be a tremendous showcase for some of the very best NHL prospects currently playing college hockey. In addition to players whose draft rights are already held by NHL teams, this year’s tournament will also be highlighted by three of the very best prospects eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft. That group is led by projected No. 1 overall pick Macklin Celebrini of Boston University. 

Every team in the NHL except for the Seattle Kraken have at least one prospect playing in the NCAA tournament. Meanwhile there are several high-end undrafted free agents and multiple first- and second-year NHL Draft eligible players to track.
