Villanova lacrosse looks to get back on track against Providence, a week after they lost to top 10-ranked Denver.

Villanova lacrosse had their three-game winning streak snapped a week ago when they lost to No. 8 Denver, 6-9. The Wildcats will look to get back in good form as Providence lacrosse visits Pennsylvania for a BIG EAST conference matchup.  At 6-4 on the season, Villanova are towards the top of the BIG EAST in overall record, despite being 0-1 thus far in conference play. Villanova received 15 votes in the most recent USILA Men's Lacrosse Coaches Poll, and though they are technically unranked, it's good for 24th overall.

Providence, 4-6, sit in the latter half of the BIG EAST standings. They are just a week removed from 15-10 loss against conference foes Georgetown. The Friars have wins this season against Merrimack, Stony Brook, Holy Cross and Brown. Villanova vs. Providence is Apr. 6 at 12:00pm EST and will be streamed live on FloLive.
